PALADIX photo-online is an online magazine from the Czech Republic. Its beginnings in 1998 become this site a cultural patrimonial of the country and part of the “Czech Republic National Library.”

By 2016 they had a high bounce rate on their website due to the increasing number of new sites and competitors; the website was getting old regarding branding and usability, so they contacted me to redesign it and improve these metrics.

How do we improve usability and create a new brand, keeping the main functionalities and creating an attractive design for old users?

We prepared a place on the platform for users to take a usability survey, so we could validate the main problems and obtain statistics that would allow us to make decisions based on DATA

Workshops

I conduct an online workshop with the client and developers so we can define the top functionalities needed.

Important Changes:

  1. New brand design.
  2. Profiles with reviews option.
  3. User reporting option.
  4. Receive a notification once users ask something to advertisers.
  5. Verified and Unverified customer
  6. A new user profile section
  7. Improve the search option, making it more visible.
  8. Complete ad section (Option to see advertising in detail)

Wireframes

Based on my research and problem definition, I create the first high-fidelity wireframe. It was helpful to get an overall idea of the main functionalities we want to work on and organize them on the screen.
